where art thou,Kingdom of heaven
today being friday, i actually had no classes on..lucky me eh..but then again, being the insane person that i am , i crawled up early in the morning to go to college..U must be wondering whether i had nothing better to do..lol..
9 something at kbu field
we had a newcomer today, which was wx..the usuals were all absent..haha..large change in blood. It was time to get down to some action. I held the frisbee in my hand, wondering how to start. It had been months since i last played and i had totally forgotten the techniques involved. So we just brandished the frisbee around menacingly..lol.needless to say, the disc crashed down after "floating" for a short distance
1 hour later
people had started to gather to watch...we started feeling very self-conscious..haha..in case any of them recognised me from my prog..so we played in a smaller area which was near the trees and the results turned out to be pretty well.I didnt realise that when we play frisbee, we actually sweat as much as when we played bball, just that you didn't feel the urge to drink so much of water. thankfully, no one from my class saw us play.i think.. i'll have to improve much more before i let them actually see me play:p
we stopped at about 11..which was quite early.then we went to the cafeteria to rest.As usual, the bloody water cooler near to our classrooms was out of action again..i really must remember to complain to the office about it.i dun even know whether they maintain the water dispensers..egads..to think of all the bacteria just multiplying inside the grubby filter..bacteria eutopia..aiks..but so far so good huh, maybe yi duk gong duk works..lol
12 o clock
we went to the library to enjoy the cool atmosphere within.. I grabbed the sun..heh..plastered at back was the jubilant faces of the euphoric Arsenal players, who were practically beaming.Of course, it was a call for massive celebration, heck, they crushed everton 7-0.It was no mean feat and this proved that the mighty Gunners were indeed back in action. We can definitely expect more magnificent matches from them in the future.the fa cup final perhaps? * grins gleefully* Checked out some horoscopes stuf together..
20 mins later
okay..time to go to 1u as we had an appointment with emily at 1.30.. we walked down calmly to the ground floor where i started searching for the shuttle bus schedule..well...it was MIA unfortunately..darn..must have been torn down by some doink. then i asked the guards whether the shuttle bus has arrived..it turned out that we just missed the bus..damn... i didnt know that they came at 12.15.. oh well, we decided to go for lunch.we were walking towards c.point when we decided wat the heck, lets go to 1u for lunch..SO we started walking there..yes walking..u didnt read wrongly..haha..it took us a good 30 mins to walk there from kbu..it didnt look far so we didnt hail a cab.. we managed to reach 1u still intact in one piece though beh was sweating profusely already.amazingly,wx was still as cool as cucumber.. i glanced at my watch..wow..it was already 12.50+ and my fren had called me abt 20 mins ago to join them for lunch..wahahh..n i told them we would be coming soon..as we were alreayd walking there..
chatterbox..where the heck is that? we hunted around for that shop and finally found it by going out from the secret recipe side...oh... we ordered spaghetti and tea n coffee as they didnt really have much choice of food...not really la..its just that i didnt really fancy what i saw..i think their service really needs improvement as we had to try to catch the waiters attention to order our food and we were sitting right in front of the counter.ironic huh. beh n wx went to collect the movie ticks" kingom of heaven" which we were goin to watch later. wk was eating voraciously and nicking stuff from other ppl.. he practically looked like he was starving and i realised that he dindt eat vege cuz he was piling all the capsicum n stuf on the table and phi actually took some and ate it!!!! oh my... i was practically staring with my mouth hanging wide open..if only al was here to see it.. i wonder wat she would have said abt her leng zai.. the mee that they served was instant mee haha..the ones that we see in the supermarkets..i knew they would do that..haha..
*flashbacks*
i went to pyramid with mandy once and had lunch at a korean restaurant.their mee turned out to be those shin instant noodles that cost abt 11 for a pack of five..the shop was blacklisted ever since.lol.
the funny thing was, as i flipped through their menu with bright words advertising their new meals, i found out that there were special shin noodles.. no prizes for guessing it correctly, they were indeed using that brand of instant noodles..haha.. and the best part is, the boxes for the noodles were blantantly displayed on top of their kitchen cupboard in full view of the customers.. thankfully i dint order that..haha..we gobbled down our food and set off to find emily..
2 @ bowling alley
we wanted to play bowling but time was a major factor as we agreed that if we were to play only a game, it wasnt worth renting the shoes, so we turned to pool instead.now ,this was my very first time playing pool and i had not the faintest inkling whatsoever on how you were supposed to play pool.We all sucked at it tremendously.wx was much better than us with his zi sai..haha.. it was kinda embarassing bcuz all around us were ppl playing with much ease and seemed to know what they were doing.somehow by miracle, we managed to finish off all the balls and went off to our movie
2.45 @ cinema
we hurried into the cinema just in time to catch a brad pitt and nokia ad.after that the movie started.good timing i should say.the movie was 2 n a half hours long but surprisingly it wasnt monotonous and boring as you would expect of such movies with war themes.ORLY was as dashing as ever haha.. prolly bcuz of the character that he is supposed to play is a good guy that has the uncanny abilitiy to pick up things quickly and good at planning. As usual, there would be some love scenes that had the female lead falling head over heels over him.I do think that his acting has improved from the legolas days in LOTR. the movie took a fairly unbiased approach on religion in jerusalem, showing each side of the story.. i find it ironic that people commit all types of heinous crimes all in the name of god. which is blasphemy.would any good come from it? some of the major hypocrites were paradoxically leaders of religion.bah.. wat nonsence..plain jabberwocky.
it made me realise how lucky we are to not to suffer from war.although we arent really that progressive of a country but at least we all have enough to eat.

Hey, I found this blog because I typed in "KBU" and "frisbee" to try to find something else. Glad you enjoyed frisbee at KBU and I hope to see you there again. One question, though... who is this?
I am David, the guy who brought ultimate frisbee to KBU.
