a NEW me

well , in case you guys might be wondering what happened, whether i went for plastic surgery or wat... I just cut my hair, so its now super short compared to last time's locks. The reason I went to cut it short was because it was kinda irritating me, and whenever i exercised the hair would stick to the nape of my neck. Therefore, i cut it short, without realising what the effects would turn out to be.. Before the hairdresser happily snipped off my hair, i asked her to not raze them to the ground and she nodded. So, i relaxed and just stared into the blank space ahead of me.I also asked her to cut it thinner as my previous haircut was starting to resemble a bed of grass. to quote my sis. So, when all things were done, she whipped off the gown n proclaimed proudly, ta da.. I looked up to see my image in the mirror.Wow, my fringe was so short now and my head looked bigger than usual.Oh well, whats done has been done, so i just paid the fella and went home. Before i even stepped into the house, my sis caught a glimpse of me n just fell over laughing.Eesh.Thankfully, my dog still could recognise me.If not, i would have been horrified.

I went to sleep crossing my fingers and bracing the reaction of my friends.

MONDAY

off to college, when i ran into the lift, wk asked me whether i cut my hair. I'm like..uh yea..if not? THat was only the beginning, there were more to come. The moment i stepped into class, i heard gasps of disbelief from the people who sits behind me.They prolly havent seen such a drastic change before, and as usual that lun was just pointing and laughin.Wen soon took a while to recognise the fact and they then announced that it resembled a cocount hair cut..Eesh.. it does not look like a coconut!! coconut is rounder. Then, that Wk told me that he broke my disc which in fact he was lying..I nearly bought his story and thankfully he took good care of it.If he did really break it, i would have been really pissed off and strangle him.

The day then continued with surprised reactions from my classmates and my coursemates. Is it really that different?Prolly becuz i have shorter hair than the guys now..lol. other than nicholas that is.MOAH, my bio teacher then came in and immediately noticed the difference. Her comments were as below:
"you cut ur hair? Why? It's so short!"

well, i kinda think that the shorter hair suits my personality as a sportier person.I was never those domicile, meek, gentle and oh-so-fragile girls and probably would never succeed in acting so-ladylike.I'm quite like a thorn among the delicate roses here and can really pack a punch. The rest of the ppl with the exception of few looked like those ideal girls for those guys with conservative old-world thinking.

*flashbacks*

"what? you play basketball? are you female or male? " a guy asked me when i came into class with a basketball.I just shrugged.Ahh, old conservative mind set.Since when basketball became a privelege of the males? In their minds, girls were prolly better suited off sitting in their mini-skirts cheering excitedly for the guys in the stands instead of sweating it out on the court..Please.. Its my choice and none of their business.
